She likes to show how flexible she can be...



She can crawl now but not very standard crawl, looks more like a snake crawl. haha. She can also sit upright for few sec.

Poor Gemma was sick during CNY. she never been so sick b4 so we caught off guard. though she had a cold once it recover within 1 day. perhaps is becos she drank bm? anyway this time round, all of us r sick so we pass the virus to her... hiaz. wat to do? kor kor also wanna play w her becos she too cute so it hard to avoid. she took med (first time eating english med) to clear her phelgm and now she back to her cheery self though she still had occasional cough.

hope she recovers fast b4 i go on my hk trip. at least put my mind to ease. gotta get a minnie mouse or somnething cute during tis trip for her ~

yesterday Gemma develop a fever. Could be due to the injection. However this morning seems to be clear after monitoring a while. Hope no more.

She also drink lesser milk, dunno is because she not feeling too well. I also stop feeding her semi-solids till after cny next week. Let her drink my milk and make her stronger. Hopefully after CNY, we can start feeding her semi-solids and she eat better. I trageting keeping at least an extra bottle of BM everyday once she starts solids. Then by the time I fly to HK, I would have a week supply for her... do wish me luck!

Gemma got another jab this morning. She didn't cry at all. So brave!

Her weight is 6.2kg which doctor says slow down in growth. Hopefully she grows more the next visit. She is now taking some semi solid food so hope can beef up her weight. Other than that, I think she v alert and playful hehe. which is good.

Btw, she likes to play cars and balls now... just like her gor gor! omg... how? my collegue told me not to freak out as that doesn't mean she end up like tom boy. She is just imitating gor gor cos he always see him playing with these. Just now, Jasper offer her a car and she actually try to move it along the floor. Kids really learn and pick up things from others fast.

She also likes to play paper and plastic bags haha prob she likes the sound when she crushes them. Jasper always goes "mei mei cang" cang as in crush... u can just give her a paper and she be fascinated with it for the next 10 min haha.

Nowadays when she wan us to carry, she will move up her bottom too... super cute! she will have eye contact with us and smile. so sweet. can't bear to let her stay in the cot when she does that.

6 mth old! Finally eating semi-solids...

How time flies... Gemma is already six months!



Sebas and I took leave to witness her first semi-solid feed... haha It a milestones time so of cos, we need to be there for her. It will be her daddy to feed her first like what we have done for Jasper.

She had a funny look when she eat it (coarse rice) the first time but she ate abit b4 she starts to reject it... haha not bad for starter...

Since it was her day, we actually brought her out first time w/o her bro to nearby queenstown shopping centre and Achorpoint to shop shop. She was very guai and sat quietly in my sarong looking around and munching her fingers deliciously.

I went to look at shoes at Charles and Keith and thru out, she didn't fuss so I managed to get a pair of shoes with ease.... hahahha since she so guai, I let her see some animals at the pet shop and also some cny decorations. I went to look for cny clothes but didn't manage to find anything nice. Imagine how ez it is! I didn't carry any big bag as well. All I took was a bottle of powder and a pamper which I pack into the sarong pocket. didn't know how ez it could be till noe...

She was smiling when we went back to the car. Seem like she enjoy shopping... she didn't sleep and watch everywhere... she be my shopping kaki next time... yippee...

nowadays she dun wan to be put back to her cot when she wake and wan to play... so we noe take her out and play with us and her gor gor... she always smile when we carry her. if not, her backside will keep jumping up and up and her hands out stretch to make us carry her. if we still dun, she will start screaming and then tears go down... she really looks like her gor gor when she does this. haha today I see her, I finally see she resemble her gor gor in certain way...

Today we also went hort park to get some flower pots to place at our door step... now our house is decorated with cny decorations. Jasper keep saying "nice nice" haha

Gemma went out last wkend and seems to have fun now. She starting to want to sit upright and watch the excitement.

We went many places. On sat, we went for Jinshun daughter full mth party. Brought both kids there. Many people wanted to carry Gemma but she cried upon letting them carry. Guess different place n different ple. She was v frightened but I managed to calm her down. after that, she was fine n also playing w us. She also let one granny carry her... old hand bah.

On sat, while on our way to see flowers at Far east flora, since it has been quite some time since I out and never pump, I decided to give Gemma my breasts to see if she wanna latch. She didn't resist! but she bite me horribly... nevertheless, she did drink n never fuss in fact. I was so glad though my nipples got sore after,... gosh

that solve my hardening "rocks" and let us shop for flowers. Bought 1 pot home. look nice n prob would go down another day to buy some more haha.

Dinner time we ate at Bong Tong Kee nearby at Balestier Rd. One head waiter commented Gemma look v pretty and had lots of hair. I was of cos happy la. :)

Then sun, early morn, went to get new fans for mil. We bought a new fan as well cos our rm's one just spoil too. After that, went to my fren birthday party. Gemma didn't want others to hug as usual. However, there are a couple of them who she didn't resist. prob they play w her first b4 carryin her... keke

then we went back home to let her rest and change her kor kor too. Then we went to Regent hotel for a talk with Pearly and then went Orchard shopping. by then it was little late, Jasper was sleeping already too tired of all the jumping around the hotel earlier. only left FM cos didn't bring much expressed milk. try to feed her but she wriggled. Guess she v "hon xin" (distracted) these 2 days. always cannot finish milk cos too noisy outside.

So we fed in car but she feel like vomiting. Wonder y cos these days she been drinking 1 time FM cos dun wanna waste the tin since open already. shld be used to it. Anyway, decided to stop feeding her that and latch her instead. Voila! She suck and after a while her eyes close...
