I wish to really capture Gemma walking on my video cam n post here... she looks so cute walking around the entire house, entire shopping mall with her cute bottom shaking as she walk. She is walking rather fast now but the way she walk is very cute, shakey but stable... haha

should capture and show u all what I mean. Ytd, she walking around the house as usual. She wun get tired easily... she ate my banana as she walk around *faint. She can really bite off and chew when she has limited teeth... amazing.

but nowadays she starting to wan to hug outside liao unlike Jasper which is now more happy walking around.

Gemma has started to walk more often by herself, more than 5 steps a time.
Yesterday night, maid told me whole day she has been asking her to walk with her, holding hands. When I back home, I also walk around the house with her. Then when she walk alone, she damn cute... she trying to balance herself with eachs tep she took, then if she feel like falling, she bend her knees to stabilise then get up again... hehe

Gemma Birthday Bash on 02 Aug 09 Sunday

It was a bright cheery day that day.

Early morning before Jasper could wake up, we brought Gemma to the market to buy her minced pork for her mee sua, and chicken thigh for the choosing ceremony later...

We bought some mkting as well and ate breakfast. By the time we reach home, Gemma was very tired.



While she is sleeping, we quickly bring up the deco and arrange some balloons. We actually blew the balloons last night. luckily I didn't buy more as it's rather difficult to tie up the knot for each balloon. but for my little Gem, it worth it.

We got ready the things we wanan her to choose and to step on what they call Tua Ku (it actually a pair of big ang ku kueh and symbolise wealth, good luck and happiness) before she eat her bowl of mee sua with red eggs...

Guess what she select.... She selected the money...

We dress her in her birthday dress... polka dots... mixed with a hello kitty polka dot bow I got from batam...

The buffet came at 1 p.m exactly but setup took a while as there were 10 courses! Yes that alot... cos approx 60 ple coming. We order from YLS catering for 1st time and hope it is nice. N it really turns out nice. Some of the yummy dishes include braised pork buns, mee goreng, braised duck (you seldom see duck in such buffet). I like the vegetables though. The food was more than enough for the guests and we ate more after most of them ate.

The glutenous rice is obtained from the ang ku kueh store at Bukit Merah. It must be nice cos it was finish rather fast, even with min chilli cos there are leftover of chilli. I only managed to ate abit of it... haha

Oh mini highlight... I order desserts from Obolo after I saw them feature on tv... wanna try it out after looking at the yummy menu... at first wanted to order some snacks from Pat & Felcor pastry kitchen but they can't take orders for sun already by the time I call... actually I was not very late so guess their business is real good.

These are snatched very fast... even b4 I can take their pictures... I quickly grab 2 of them to take... keke... in fact there another favour which is not shown cos finish already...

Actually the cakes are in different favours and the icing is not too sweet. Everyone commented it nice to see and eat. There are many designs to choose... ooohhhh

Her main birthday cake (for her official cutting ceremony) is a cake from Patissier too... It is a fruit cake...
