It was a tiring period again... both of them are sick... prob the bad weather cause it... It started with Jasper having diarhoea and then fever. Then when he recover, Gem got it... she suddenly got running nose plus fever... then can't stop them playing with each other... they were still very much active.... ytd Jasper caught the bug back n have fever...

today finally they seem ok now. only have abit of mucus... n they still fighting with one another...

like noe.... after this post, i will bring them to sleep....

ok to update Gem progress... haha i realise something today which I might not have notice earlier...

She likes to make fun of gor gor... she knoes he like to whine when she takes things. N she purposely like take the item n show to him. then he start to wan the thing too..... n she dun give him... she will shift away. then after he start to cry or abt to, she will give to him, showing abit of smile.... *faint

Most of the times, Gem do give gor gor the toys or things she holding as Jasper wans it. so she is quite generous. she also like to shake hands with passerby which shows she was more sociable....

Yet another day out with my kids n frens...

Last sat, we have another birthday party. This time is Linda's gal Chloe's 1 yr old. Time flies.

My kids had a great time running around the garden below and Gemma finally can walk down a slope by herself. proud of her... what proud is they can now pose for the cam... hahhaha v vain kids! more such pics posted on Jasper blog...



After the party, we head down to Ikea and Giant Tampines with my frens. Jasper can now walk together with them w/o us... I think he starting to be more social which is good.

Recently, this young boy of mine beat mei mei again, this time daddy saw and buay tahan shout at him, poor noti boy quickly run to maid and cry hysterically.

Mei mei watched and want to cry too... then she got down from my arms and act walk over and find gor gor!

wondering what next, she went and hug him and together they hug... so sweet... n both happy again...

Gemma finally can go down slope by herself. N she haven't even reach 15 mths! Jasper started walking by himself at 15 mths! haha

Intially she would wan to hold hands and walk really slow down the slope, fear of falling...
now she can ... watch the video... this was at my fren daughter bd party...

Bintan Trip on 3 Oct

Finally 3 Oct came. Actually time flies and next moment we are at Tamah Merah Ferry terminal for our trip to Bintan... ooohhh... looking forward to stay with Angsana resort... well actually I didn't thought of a bintan holiday. Some agent called me to tell me there a promo and it was attractive so I try. anyway it was a good time to see/test how the kids behave themselves since it was only 1 hr ride.

At ferry terminal look at how Gemma make funny faces at gor gor. Both of them were excited as if they knew what coming next is FUN n more FUN and out of Spore! They keep running around.

Waiting to get into gate 4.... into ferry

Amazed at how big my kids are now... how they grow and enjoy each other company...

We finally boarded the ferry and surprisingly both of them sat on their own (as they r "koalas" if u know wat I meant). Maybe it new and exciting to them.

But when the ferry is just about to move, Gemma wanted me to hug liao... so she sat on my lap and then Hb join us same row as there are only 3 seats in same row.

From ferry, we could actually see many planes landing so they were v close. n the kids watched with fascination n keep pointing...

The ferry was rather new too, much more comfortable than the batam one. bigger and newer seat and tray for putting your stuff and frink. toilet was very clean n like the ones in aeroplane. there were 2 stories and both level air-conditioned. This is how big it is.

Overall, the ride was ok and the kids generally behave themselves, didn't throw temper or cry. which is good. which motivate me to take them further next yr :)

Hb was very happy too, he be celebrating his birthday there. His birthday was 4 oct.

We reached after 1 hour on sea...

The angsana ple greeted us upon arrival and quickly ushered us to their bus.

Next moment we are at the reception...

We ate our lunch there while waiting for our keys. I had this fruit drink, pineapple +mango + another fruit (can't rem), n it was so-so nia but rather ex! all prices in US$

Jasper was happily colouring the paper they gave him.

n Gemma contented with eating bread by herself... yes I bought a loaf of bread in SG!!! haha

The weather was rather hot and the place was not air conditioned (resort style mah) so act feel sweat all over...

Somemore i ordered curry! cos not much choices (those with plain rice) 1... cos my kids like to eat rice. well I try not to give fries... too heaty here!

I gave Jasper his sun glasses and he love it... it good for sunny days... hehe

After lunch, we got our keys and proceeded to go there. our room was 215, on the same level as the reception so no need to take lift. our room was a family suite, with living room, dinning area and bed room...

Kitchen area... we only use the hot water flask to make milk! should have bring stuff to cook! haha

the balcony was rather long and face the pool! Upon seeing the pool, Jasper pestered us to bring him there to swim!

Thsi is the living area with dinning area at the back... big rgt. the kids can't stop running around, feeling excited.

This is the bed room. Besides bed, there a day bed which I dream for last time to put in my own home but it never came true... haha

We also requested to have 2 cots for the kids.

The kids got onto the day bed and played pillow fight!

We went to took a shuttle bus (SG$6 per person! but i think unlimited for 1 day) to Oleh Oleh village. We wanted to see if there anythign to buy... me shopping queen! haha ya not used to resort relax relax...

There not much to buy except for some keropok and Empeng crackers.

They have a local character called Oleh Oleh, it actually a coconut husk.

In less than a hour, it rained heavily and luckily we were v near the bus and we run up!

Then we roamed around Angsana... We can't go spa cos our kids can't be put into the care since they are below 3. Anyway it was ex and we could get 10 times Batam massage with 1 massage here!

Then we saw the children room and pop by. The lady told us we can play inside with them.

There is a panda bear toy there n act panda is Jasper fav animal haha...

It was rather good and the bigger kids get to play with computer games. There were more angmohs than asians.

There a grill bar besides the beach... It was raining so we didn't go to beach.

We went to the treetop for dinner since we didn't really like the food served at Lotus cafe earlier... it was still raining and we cancel the mangrove boat trip.

The treetop restaurant was very nice and the service very good. It was rather dark but it ok anyway.

Here is our appertiser... tofu, it was crispy outside and very nice! taste like sotong

This is cheeseee... nice too. I not a cheese person but it taste good.

Jasper and Gemma also have the tofu each. n Jasper helping himself to it...

Of cos, me order the rice cos of kids... they offered to took pic for us but it was abit dark so kind of shaky photo...

Then after dinner, we took the buggy (first time I ride on one), and rode down to the lobby to wait for the car to fetch us back to hotel.

Back at room, we played the lanterns as it was moon cake festival! it was still raining so we played at the balcony.

Next day, we have lunch at their club house. It was a complimentary lunch after a talk we attended on their club membership. I didn't took up since I not a resort person. It doesn't make sense to me... I more of a shopping queen... This trip affirm my role ;p

There was no bb chairs here since it a golf centre so most adults are here w/o kids! haha

luckily they can sit by themselves liao, just stack on the cushions. but halfway though eating, Gemma insist on getting down to walk. Luckily the place was very big for her to roam freely n happily. We r happy too since we can eat w/o worrying she hit onto ple.

Gemma poo here and I thot it was the worst case. I hurried into toilet, to be glad to find a shower area with a bench and towels! so I wash her bottom and dress her up... she was nice smelling again haha ;p

Waiting for bus to take us to elephant show, Gemma got a great time walking and runnign with her new slippers!

We reached and Jasper woke up upon reaching. He stayed alert thru out the show.

Both of them clapped hands after each performance. haha cute!

I thot they won't pick me but they ask me to give Maths to the elephant and to get down to get the numbers... btw, it was correct! clever elephant!

Halfway thru the ride, we took pic. Gemma didn't cry. but when we stop for shoot, she actually bian chui like wan to cry. prob she saw papa n gor gor at another elephant so she thot she alone...

As for Jasper, he kept saying he dun wan to ride on it but we have no choice as we already bought ticket. Poor him, the moment hb put him on it, he cry like hell.

It only when he saw Gemma sitting quietly tat he calm down.

Anyway, after ride, I ask if he will sit on it again, he say no, scared... he say he wanna sit on a chicken. *faint

Around 7 (8 p.m sg time), we got onto the boat to see mangrove and also fireflies. the kids have not seen it n I quite sure they might like it. Actually I forgot Jasper scare of flies... haha but anyway we try...

Gemma in her life jacket... she very noti 1... halfway thru ride, she insist to take it off as it was bothering her chin. she was too small for it and that y it keep coming up to her head when she sat....earlier she has vomited as she didn't see me after she woke up at the bus, she cried till vomit. damn jialat. so I didn't wan to agitate her further n took out the jacket. Jasper guai guai still have it on thru out trip.

I quickly put on gor gor jacket on her to make her warm. who knows it start to rain when we on the way back! at first drizzle so I just put on hood which she simply dislike but I force. When the rian get heavier, I tried to cover her with the rain jacket, but she simply refuse n end up I wear. But she also wan me to take out! so cham... end up I throw the rain jackets aside... luckily, the rain get lighter n reaching anyway... hiaz.

Back at the gallery, we see what we can buy back for memoirs...

This is lotus cafe ... we going to try their breakfast on last day as we see like quite nice. the second day we r rushing for talk so only dabao a few pastries, n it soft n nice... only their lunch n dinner maybe not so nice, their meat r v tough lor...

Breakfast... yummy... many selections... hot/cold many fruit juices... healthy choices... even got carrot juice...
