Taiwan - here we come!

Day 1 (02 Mar 10) - still hesistating to bring Gem go but decided to in the end as we couldn't bear to leave her in Sg. We brought all her med there and she ate one dosage on board. But it didn't help that once we touch down, she was stopped by custom as she was having a fever... hiaz. waited for some report and confirmation of our whereabouts in Taiwan before they released us... end up we were sort of late (though the flight was early)

But it didn't tamper our spirits later...

Jasper wanted to sit in this but I told him cannot... it just a stall selling postal stuff. n so he gladly pose in front.


On SIA... think my first time! The kids enjoy as there is remote and cartoons...

Gemma was sick so she slept most of the times... thankfully ;p and she was small enough to fit into the bassinet

We took the cab (NT1000) to our hotel - Just Sleep Xinmending. The cab was a toyota camry and very new. We didn't regret staying in the new hotel... It was very funky and modern and new. The kids love it.

The WC is separate form the shower so save time and better hygiene if one goes shower n the other pee/ or bigger business haaa...

Outside the room has a place for you to rest and drink (vending machines available)

Without wasting much time, we quickly go Jiannan station and go for our dinner

We pass by the miramar.

We order food. this is prawn that can wrap in lettuce. Jasper ate it too... n seem got hmmm wine...

Complimentary machi... but we dun like it... taste powdery and strong

jasper looks so happy ... never expect him to fall sick (catch the bug from mei) the following day, in fact the very nite 3 a.m!

After dinner, we went to the wheel at Miramar.

We waited for the only transparent cabin (about 10 min of wait) since there is no one in line...

The ride is very cheap ... less or around $5 and kids are free

Next we quickly took the shuttle bus to Shilin mkt.

didn't take much shots as busy looking at stuff. and we ended up trying their mee sua.
