This sunday was maid off day again and we beginning to be able to cope with bringing the two kids out ourselves. It was not so stressful as the earlier days.

I also find Jasper is able to walk more when he goes out w/o the maid! though he tends to want to carry too, I always try to encourage him to walk and then I will carry him later. It works for most times. but sometimes when he is clever as in he will run to daddy for hug! at least now my hands are not aching and I shouldn't complain.

In fact, meal times was better today. Probably Jasper like his porridge even though there were no toy cars for him to play but he ate his food happily (after I first coax him too, prob the first taste he like it and so he continue...) Hubby had a harder time cos Gemma hated her rice cereal and was whining while she ate. haha anyway she managed to finish her food still. But she like her apple puree breakfast earlier. It was one of the rare time where I can eat my food w/o worrying that I need to feed Jasper or Gemma.

The whole day we tried to spend time in shopping centre as it was raining. We felt lucky as intially we planned to go to zoo today...

anyway I feel Jasper has grown up alittle though he still doesn't say "sorry" when he is at fault. He rather action like sayang us or mei mei. just today Gemma refuse to sit in the pram and kept jerking her bottom and crying her lungs out... so we ask Jasper if he could sit first and he agreed. at these times like that, I feel Jasper was understanding.

He can be quite "manager" kind when he get us to do things,... haha just today he took a spoon and gestured it to mei mei and say "mei mei eat, come eat" haha... as if he knoe how to feed her...

Gemma is also very attached to me now... as if I have an invisible magnet in my body. Whenever I am around, she would want me to hug. If not, she will make many whining sound... when I carry her, she will giggle and smile at me... so sweet...

First time to zoo with the two kids...

It's Jasper and Gemma's first day at the zoo and it was a very sunny day... couldn't help running to shelters and the shops for some cool air!

After Jasper class at LNT, we dash down to zoo as we see the weather is very good (of cos hot too but better than raining... since these days so unpredictable).

I pumped my milk in the car to save time. I then gave the milk to Gemma in the car.

When we reach there, it already 12 and it was the hottest timing so we order some food first at the entrance for Jasper lunch. He like the garlic bread there but I told him he must also eat his pasta which he ate a little.

We took some photos with the Ben and Jerry cows. Gemma enjoyed sitting on the cow and Jasper joined in later.

We went around the zoo and took some more pictures. By the time we abt to get home, the two kids are so tired that they slept... shld organise more such outings to tire them out... but then I also tired!

After zoo we head back home to give the two kids more rest and shower time... then hubby and I went out alone to enjoy our dinner at vivo. However didn't watch movie as planned as really tired and I need to go pump which I forgot before going out...

Gemma 1st teeth has made its appearance today!!! finally! Soon she can be able to munch her food and biscuits easily.... big milestone for me... keke

Last Sunday, Gemma went for the kindermusik trial with the July mummies' bbs... We have alot of fun. Gemma seems to be able to concentrate better than Jasper. She also didn't fret out at the sign of many bbs in one room... v brave gal! in fact, she smiled at my fren when she tok to her.

There are songs and rhythm and we are suppose to follow some actions and bond with our bbs. I feel songs can actually help bb develop their languages in a way.

Gemma loved the drums too and started to beat the drums happily! She also didn't scream when we rotate/ change drums to beat. glad that she was in good mood... hehe

She also loved the bubbles and wanted to catch them by crawling towards them.

Luckily she is quite light so I have no prob carrying her thru out for some of the games... keke.

Think she has musical talent cos at home she be busying with beating the floor or other things with some cars or watever she can find... *faint... think she inherited musical genes from her bro...

When we reach home tat day, she was so happy when she saw her bro n she screamed for him.... then they started playing together... it during these times when I feel having two kids are def better than 1 lonely child...

Gemma is able to stand for a few seconds! We brought her to East Coast Park and she enjoyed herself very much. She enjoyed the breeze and watched occasional planes and helicopters flying past. She got enough simulation... by then she was tired n drank her milk b4 k.o.

of cos, gor gor was enjoying building his sand castle...

Last nite, Gemma was sleeping on my bed again... she was trying to stand using our body for support. haha... most interesting thing is she starts to try to release both hands!

Though it just a few sec, she is trying to stand liao! She indeed learn v fast.... I wonder what is her first words...

Gemma starts to fight for her right liao... which is good... haha so she can't be bullied. cos now when gor gor tried to snatch from her, she will grab tightly and scream haha. at times she also likes to try to snatch toys from his hands too! hehe

She is also finally eating those biscuits w/o making it soggy... she likes Pigeon bun.... when I want to buy now, I can't find now.... wonder where can I find Pigeon bb food....?

anyway, this morn she is so sweetttt.... she actually wan me to hug when I just abt to leave home for work. then when maid wan her back, she just look at her n smile shyly.... didn't stretch out her hands to her at all... she did that many times but Gemma still dun wan her .... so cheeky n cute...

but I got to go finally n say good bye to her....

Gemma has been cheeky these days, will know how to make people laugh by intentionally refusing us to carry her when we want to. She will smile shyly and will bluff us by opening her arms alittle and tend move away.

This week is a fruitful week, whereby she gets to sleep with us for 3 wkday nites.... though abit tired but I am glad tat things r improving. Just hope that she sleeps more early soon.
